My plans with odie.tv for 2016 part II - Where's my content!?

As you may have ( or more to the point, haven't) seen, there's been quite a lack of content on odie.tv, going against the initial plans for this year. Here's a list of excuses.

As you may have ( or more to the point, haven't) seen, there's been quite a lack of content on odie.tv, going against the initial plans for this year. The CM Storm Devastator II kit review is something i still wish to do, however dated/obsolete it may be by now. However, i've been struggling with setting up a proper set-up for filming and voiceovers due to a lack of space in my current 'apartment'. I had hoped to be able to move out of this place earlier, but it seems like it's not happening anytime soon. I also spent quite some time looking into setting up a workflow, which has changed dramatically over the months.

The current workflow involves a Raspberry Pi 2 with the new camera module for video, which spouts out raw .264 footage, which is either transcoded into something workable on the pi itself, the NAS, or the workstation ( haven't worked out this bit yet). The workstation's primary OS has also been moved over to Windows 10, as opposed to Xubuntu 16.04, mostly due to moving towards Davinci Resolve as the video editor of choice ( which works marvelously on a windows OS).

Now that the workflow's been mostly worked out, i'm planning on figuring out an easy way to set up and tear down a makeshift film set for product reviews and other videos of the sort. I've looked into using thick white vinyl/linoleum to get a unique yet plain backdrop going.

With that being said, stay tuned for a while longer; content is on its way!
